Any entry to mid-level receiver (price range between $250-$600) would be entirely sufficient for that setup. What is your budget for a new receiver? If you can aim it towards the higher end of this range I would take a look at the Yamaha RX-V663, which I think can be found now for <$500.
Also, eventually you'll want to upgrade that sub...
Maybe not a priority for you at the moment, but you'd be much better off.
Bose is all-hype, 100% down your throat marketing - you see it
everywhere, and it's priced ridiculously high, so that average consumer is led to believe that it's top quality. Nothing could be further from the truth. Any reputable speaker manufacturer will gladly advertise their specifications along with their product, as this usually helps the more informed consumer better gauge certain aspects of the design, speaker construction, driver response, frequency and power handling, etc. Specs are just specs of course, and ultimately, satisfaction is in the eye (or in this case, ear) of the beholder, as it is largely a subjective science. Nevertheless, Bose offers none of this, not because it's a closely guarded secret, but because they do not want the aforementioned more informed buyer aware that what they are selling is pure junk, which is definitely is. Your "digital audio" speakers are probably as good if not better than a typical Bose system. They're in the same category, IMO, one just has a much larger resource for marketing than the other.
