Did EMP Tek make a worthwhile subwoofer? Interesting new subs here..

I noticed these new subs up at EMP Tek's website: the I-12 and the I-12/e. They are ported 12"s in a good sized cabinet with triple ports. They look worlds better than EMP Tek's previous 10" subs, which were pretty easily dismissed. It looks like EMP Tek is starting to take subwoofers seriously. I am glad another manufacturer isn't afraid to use a large cabinet, and these cabinets have a nice finish on them as well. The prices are very reasonable. One drawback is there isn't any amplifier optimization for the multiple tuning points, or at least that I can see. Ah well. But for $500 you can get a 12" in a large cabinet with a 350 watt amp. If the driver is there, this should be pretty stiff competition for the Rythmik LV12r and Hsu VTF2 mk4, and I think it might smoke the SVS PB1000. Hopefully Josh Ricci ends up with one of these in his hands so we can see what it can do.

12" Ported sub with 500W RMS amp in drop dead gorgeous box and this ^^ FR.
MSRP Priced at $699 ??? What not to LIKE !!!??

It even has balanced AND unbalanced inputs and outputs. So - super easy to integrate with active monitors for example
