No idea, does it tell you of updates on their website?

I understand there is a firmware release for the Denon today. Anyone able to confirm this? What are the new changes?

I looked there last night, and there are some on the website. On the AVS forum, there was mention of an update for the 5808, but I couldn't find that on the site. The other forum also mentioned that some updates need to be paid for, so I don't know where those are listed.

When I checked on Monday Sept 29, there was a firmware update for my 4308. It went from 1.72 to 1.95 (Main version). I would bet that there is also one for the 3808.

There's an update available for the 3808CI (actually there are 2 if you buy the upgrade package). Check out this link
