denon x3300 pre outs

first time im going to buy an external amp.
any recommendations for a good but not expensive 3 channel for front left right and center?

how would volume work on this type of setup? would i just turn the amp on when in use. and denon remote controls volume on 3300 and external amp?
i mainly watch movies

I have a 5 channel Parasound amp controlled by a Denon X3400H. Sounds awesome. I would like at Outlaw Audio and Emotiva for less expensive amps. Outlaw has a nicely priced 5 channel amp.

Yes.

Make sure the amp has a 12v trigger input. That will it will come on when you power up the Denon.

Be sure to calibrate first. My amps don't have a trigger so I use a smart power strip keyed to the avr. Three channel amps aren't all that numerous so your choices are limited. You could also use a pair of two channel amps (like maybe a pair of Crown XLS1502s) or maybe even three of the Outlaw 2200 monoblocks (and the price for three is a total of $1039).

looking at one of the monoliths on sale last day today.

having a problem with lip sync
optical from the denon to roku tv.
i turned lip sync on but it still off.
tried audio adjustment but cant get it right. any tips

A TCL tv with Roku, gotcha, thought you meant a Roku box.....

Have you tried using ARC to connect to see if that's better on the sync issue?

its been months since i set it up, i forgot how it works.

i use only blu -ray (for 4k player) and tv/audio (for built in roku) buttons on my remote
heres a screen shot of the inputs assign screen
and source rename. im actually not sure what i did

but when i turn tv on with tv remote, avr does turn on, but not off
so basically when i press tv/audio button on remote, the avr does say ARC. but the inputs assign screen is throwing me off. there is an optical cable to tv.
