Denon POA-4400 monoblocks

There's a pair of these on my local craigslist that I am considering purchasing. Info is hard to come by on them, but can find the basics on the web.

Considering they work properly, any opinions on these? (use to drive a pair of full range towers for music)

I'm not sure why people always insist on not announcing the price since that is an important determining factor. However I did find the amplifiers in question. $550 isn't a bad price for a pair of working POA-4400 amplifiers. The seller also has the amplifiers listed on Ebay, and his feedback is excellent. Even on ebay he has it "buy it now" for $550 + shipping. I believe this will give you some haggle factor on the amplifiers. Tell him you saw his ad on craigslist as well as his "buy it now" listing on ebay and would like to make an offer on them and specifically mention that you'll be saving him the trouble of packing and shipping heavy amplifiers and dealing with the possibility of a damaged amplifier and needing to file an insurance claim (you know the whole mess you don't want to play around with). Anyway. Based on what I see you may be able to get the amplifiers for say $450. If you intend to buy them right away, cash and carry, let him know you mean business!

I usually don't think about the price, just about the quality of what I am buying, and then figure if I feel like they are worth "X" dollars to me and if I would be satisfied with paying that.

Bought both amps at $400. Look nice sitting there! Now just need to set it all up, will do so tomorrow.

More wiggle room than I thought. Now that you haggled and saved $150 don't you feel a lot better about your purchase?

Of course! Leaves me a bit to pick up a PRA-1500 pre-amp!
