I love my current Denon amp, but I've owned two Yamaha 5.1 amps that are straight out workhorses. One was on almost constantly in our family room (kids movies, etc) and NEVER had one issue with it. The thing is still kicking around nicely in our extra bedroom. These were both made in Malaysia.
