Denon is to release an outboard Silicon Optix HQV Realta upscaling switcher. It accepts up to 6 HDMI inputs with 2 HDMI outputs. It also features 2 component video inputs (one of which uses BNC connectors for those with one of the older flagship DVD players that support BNC), one composite, one s-video, and two optical inputs. It uses an Ethernet port to accept firmware updates as well as a 12 volt trigger output.
The MSRP is $2499.
This is an interesting piece of equipment to see come from Denon.
