Denon DVD models/connection options

I'm researching which Denon DVD player to use with their AVR 3806.

It appears none of the DVD players have DLINK 3rd edition for transmission of SACD and DVD-A other than by 5.1 analog RCA cables.

DVD 1920 No HDMI or DLINK
DVD 2910 HDMI, however no DLINK
DVD 3910 HDMI and DLINK SE, however no 3rd Edition.

Question is... do you think Denon may have a firmware upgrade for the DVD 3910 to upgrade from SE to 3rd edition? Would this support SACD transfer?

I don't mind waiting a little longer, possibly some future models that should have DLINK 3rd edition trickle down to the <$1k mark.

Anyword on SACD transfer through DLINK 3rd and the availability? or is Denon putting this off and waiting for HDMI 1.2 (possibly 2 yrs away?).

Thanks

3910 does have DL3 for transmission of DVD-A/SACD - it's been out for around 3 months now.

Any one know if the current production of 2910 has DL3 or are they still only DL2.

I'm considering this player with the AVR 3806 and would like to play SACD with a single cable connection.

Thank you
