Denon DVD-9000 or Denon DVD-5900 Which is Better?

I am looking to purchase one of these two units and would like any recommendations of anyone who has or is familiar with either units. I have done some research, but would like to hear some first hand user comments.

Super Audio CD is not necessarily important. It would be nice, but my priority is finding an excellent dvd performer first and audio capabilities second in priority. Thanks for your help...

Since both are discontinued products, you may want to look into newer versions.

Thanks Mort. I am actually looking to buy one used off Audiogon or Ebay? I have put thought into the 3910, but I am more inclined to look into the two mentioned above.

If you'll be running to a fixed pixel display then the 5900 over DVI would be what I'd choose. Over component, hands down the 9000. The 5900 has had some minor operational problems reported but I've seen none on the 9000....of course, that could also be because the 9000 was so danged expensive and there are fewer of them in use. I have a 2900 manufactured after Denon had worked out it's issues and it's been flawless...FWIW.
