Denon DVD-5900 denon link and SACD playback

Does anyone know when Denon will update the DVD-5900 to play SACDs using the denon link instead of having to use 6 analog cables? I read recently where they received approval from the SACD gods to be able to do so. I write and phone Denon but no replies.

My guess is never, but we can always hope...

I had the same question regarding the 3910 and I asked Denon. Their reply was they would have an update available but not until late 2006. Hopefully, it will be earlier rather than later.

Its only for SACD ver 2.0 not 1.3
