On January 22, Denon made an announcement that involved the addition of several new audio products to their already large catalog. As part of their announcement, they mentioned the addition of 4 new monitors specifically designed for professional applications. One of those monitors is the new bi-amplified, two-way DN-308SA Monitor.
Designed for the support of presentation material, collaborative discussions and critical multimedia playback, the 130-Watt DN-308SA combines a 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter with a 8-inch Kevlar woven woofer. According to the company, this monitor offers a wider range frequency response far beyond the capabilities of in-ceiling or laptop speakers.
Denon included a three-position proximity control which adapts the speaker’s bass response for placement next to walls and standard VESA mounting holes under each cabinet to extend placement versatility. Balanced XLR and ¼-inch (6.3mm) inputs were also included to ensure simple connection to common audio sources. You will also find a detachable metal grille surrounded by a liquid-smoke metallic trim. For better convenience, a powered blue LED has been added to assist with placement orientation.
