Anyone with any experience listening to the D-F101s and D-M33s? Are the DAC's the same? I believe the speakers are bigger on the F101. What are the big differences in them?
I got a chance to listen to the M33s compared to a Onkyo MC35 and the depth of the field and staging just blew the Onkyo away, even with the smaller speakers. Though it was lacking in the low end. Does the F101s make up for the lack of bottom?
I'm looking for high quality DAC in a small package, with a decent price. Any other recommendations besides these? The sales guy also hooked up a pair of paradigm's to another Onkyo, maybe a C15..., and the while the speakers sounded great (nice and warm) I still wasn't impressed with the sound field.
Suggestions?
