Audioholics Guest Jul 13, 2007 #3 Something about that pic doesn't look authentic to me - it screams Photoshop.
avaserfi Audioholic Ninja Jul 13, 2007 #4 That thing looks scary. I like the more laid back look of my Denon and more traditional receiver. Another interesting thing is a mod on the AVS site said this about the post of this receiver: "sigh today is Friday the 13th; not April fools day This kind of stuff is hurting AVS: PM sent to stop posting this crap" I would have to agree with this it doesn't seem like anything Denon would release. Photoshop for the win.

j_garcia Audioholic Jedi Jul 13, 2007 #5 It said "supposed rendering", so it isn't necessarily an actual product at this point. It does seem to indicate that Denon is leaning Blu-ray pretty well though... It strikes me as something to replace the "S" line, S-301, S-101, S-81.

MACCA350 Audioholic Chief Jul 13, 2007 #6 Denon has always been of the 'Universal Player' thinking, I can't see any reason they would change that anytime soon. I honestly think that their first HighDef player will play both HD DVD and Blu-ray. Anyway thats my opinion, Cheers
