Hi,
I can't figure out why my Denon AVR 4311 sound decreased roughly 20db after I installed a second subwoofer. After I switched from 1 sub to 2 subs in the Denon Menu the sound changed. I used the second port behind the Denon for the second sub. I listen at an average of -40db now I am listening at a average volume of -20db. Does anyone have an idea? Do I have to reconfigure Audyessy. I seem to notice that the sound not including the subs doesn't seem to sound clean/clear to my ears. This was even before I added the sub. My friend told me it is because the speaker system is old and speakers degrade over time.

2 Atlantic Technology 150W powered subs 12" 262PBM
4 Atlantic Technology 251.1 L & R both upper and lowers
2 Atlantic Technology 254 surrounds L & R Rears
