Will the new Denon AVR’s such as the 1611, 2311 etc. pass thru a 1080P/24FPS signal to a HDTV assuming the Blu-Ray player and HDTV are capable of processing a 24FPS signal. The Pioneer web site was stating 1080P/24FPS for HDMI to HDMI, Component and Composite Video Scaler for the Elite VSX-32 AVR.

Thanks

Roger

I don't remember the last time a receiver couldn't pass thru 24p.

Actually, I can't remember any receiver at all that couldn't do that (assuming pass-thru). You might have other dumb issues, of much less importance, but not with 24p AFAIR.

Do you mean HDMI pass-through even in Standby mode?

I think all HDMI AVRs can do pass-thru when they are powered on.

ADTG is right, HDMI passthrough while in standby is a relatively new feature.
