My Denon AVR 684 receiver is freaking out when I change channels on my HDTV. The sound goes out of phase I have to hit the Help button on my Logitech to reset everything back to original settings. So this only happens when I change channels. This started happening for no reason.
Is it time for a new receiver?

Thank You
Jack

Seriously, I have no life.
If the only thing you're doing is changing channels, your remote's programming may have a command for changing the sound mode. You might also look in the TV's setup- if HDMI control or CEC are on, it screws up things that don't need to be messed with.

Which model of remote? If it's the Ultimate, make sure nobody made any changes to the setup on the remote itself.

No it just happened out of the Blue. It was working fine for a couple years, the remote is a old Harmony 550.
