Denon Avr 5700

I am having an issue with this receiver. When I go to power on the receiver I get the display to come up on the front. However after about 5 seconds I get a clicking sound followed by the receiver powering off. Then the red power/standby light starts to blink. Is there a fuse or something that could have blown. The unit was not in use when this started to happen. However I wasnt sure if someone else could have been playing in too loud when I wasnt around. Usually if there are any issues with it being too much power the unit will shut down so I wasnt sure what could have caused this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated or a link in the right direction.

If it was a fuse it wouldn’t power up at all. It seems like a speaker impedance issue. I’d start by disconnecting speakers and see if it still happens.

I tried disconnecting the speakers from the receiver and still have the same result when powering up the unit. Is there any type of reset function on the receiver. I have looked through the manual but did not see anything related to this type of issue. It acts the same way as when the unit turns itself off if overheated etc. however in this case it just wont fully cycle through and stayed powered on.

Reading some other forums I might have an issue with the power supply. Is it easy to replace this part of the unit. If so, where would I go about finding directions to do this.
