Even though I would prefer the Denon 4311, I believe it's more than necessary for your 7.1 setup and the Yamaha will suit your needs very well.

Hi again. I finally was able to demo the Denon 4311 and the Yamaha rx-a3000. I am definitely going to purchase this receiver in the next month or so (the Denon). I appreciate all the help. I found out my wife is able to get this receiver for $1098. That sealed the deal for me.

I was going was going to go with the 4810ci consider the fact that I found it for $899 (normal msrp is 2999, on amazon, but I have a gut feeling that this receiver is going to be phased out/replaced soon.

Visit here to order Revitol Stretch Mark Cream.

Many of the reviews about Revitol, on various skin care sites, appear to be overly positive. They are all on the first page of Google listings, and it’s hard to believe they weren’t produced by the makers. A scroll to the second page turns up reviews that don’t seem nearly so hyped. They are much more informally written, and are a credible mixture of positive and negative.

Well i have owned HarmanKardon, Denon & now Yamaha recievers. They were all excellent but i found that the Yamaha really opened up the sound in my speakers. It really comes down to set list but also depends on what speakers you will be running. I truly believe that each brand does have its own sound to a small degree. My Denon had a bit of a dark/laidback sound while i found the Yamaha to be more open/crisp. So take that for whatever it means.

As far as room correction, i dont see much if any difference in real world listening environments. Ive experienced Audessey, YPAO, MCACC & Trinnov. They ALL do a great job at getting you started in the right direction but they ALL need further adjustme t to be correct. But once done they sound great. Just dont make a decision based on the room correction alone!
One thing i love about the Aventage line is the individual channel parametric EQ including each subwoofer which is great to fine tune. My center channel was a tad bloated so i made a small tweak in the PEQ & problem fixed!

Denons are a great brand & make a great product but my recomendation it by far the flagship Aventage RX-A3000. I have the RX-A2000 & absolutely LOVE it!!!

Hope this helps, if not then just ignore it....what do i know afterall. :)

I like the Yamaha amps on my Klipsch speakers. I have had several Yamaha AVR over the years and my 2003 model RX-V2400 7.1 still plays great. If it had HD it would still be in the HT room. So far my RX-V1900 HD 7.1 has been a plug and play, no problems at all.

I recently was reading all these forms trying to figure it which model to purchase as well. I recently created a "Man Cave" and put my HT stuff out there and have a Denon 4800 out there... My man cave has become the kid cave which is fine, but the family room got the upgrade. I was deciding between the two aforementioned receivers and in the end, I choose the Yamaha and have it for about three months now. I didn't come close the sweet deal you have, but have been very happy with the Yamaha. I have other zones in my house and the music coming for the same speakers now sounds much clearer and sounds great. Not saying it was that bad before, but I can truly tell the difference. My wife, not so much, but she loves being able to control the zones and volume from her iPad or iPhone.

In the end, both these products rock and we are all fortunate to have such minor dilemmas ;) Like everything, the next best thing is already out... but these forms are so helpful.
