Guys, I'm going to have to insist that you stay on topic here?

I mean this is a serious situation here, you know?

Focus, damn it! :D

Yes, it's Friday!! I work/commute 12-13 hour days so I'm always looking forward to the weekend. If I had to work Sat & Sun too, I'd die. Don't work too hard this weekend :)

Thanks. I try to be helpful and less offensive most of the time anyway. :D

But some of us have that Jackal-and-Hyde thing going on.

I am definitely Hyde today. :)

Although I have to work this Sat & Sun, today is still Friday, so it's not all bad. :)

I am glad the SVS Sub works out great for you. A lot of these subs (& speakers) are all so great, you just can't go wrong. :D

Thanks for the tip. It's good to know about that setting in case I do need it some day. ;) And yes, all forums should be fun and friendly. Life is short ... keep positive and stay away from negativity.

New toys are always great, especially when they work out exactly they way you had hoped. :D

This is a casual forum. It should be fun and friendly. We are all here because we love this hobby and we want to share all thoughts big and small. :D

This is NOT our job or career. It is only our hobby. Not surgery or bridge building or rocket science. Just a fun hobby for pure enjoyment and fun.

We should never have to worry that what we say is relevant enough or smart enough. ;)

But, there is always that IGNORE LIST feature. :D

On your forum Setting, go to Edit Ignore List, then add the member's name. :D

I completely agree about the importance of the manual. I didn't read it when I put my system together for the first time Monday night until I posted Tuesday morning, but I have read it since then... but not all 192 pages. That'll take more time. :) It's the weekend and I'll have more time to dig into the manual and play with my new "toy". Thanks for the response.

MarkW has a valid point he is trying to make. There simply may be something important in the documentation that we won't know about since not everyone that is trying to help will have direct experience with your particular equipment.

Unfortunately equipment manuals for most items are horrible today which makes forums like this useful. Just as background we had a rather well monied but seemingly thick witted poster here years ago drop $8K on a Samsung Plasma and right away he burned the panel. Came on and did nothing but bad mouth Samsung only to find out he didn't read the first 3 pages of the manual where it speaks to image retention.

You guys crack me up. Nothing wrong with going off topic a little, as long as it's fun and friendly. :)
