Denon AVR-2808ci w/ DefTech..phase issues

Hello there,
I recently upgraded my whole home theater, and I am having a tough time setting it up with the audyssey multi-eq. My mains are the BP7004's, C/L/R2300 center, and BP2X surrounds.
The problem I'm having is everytime I run the initial setup, I get a phase error for the mains. Everything is hooked up correctly (POS to POS and NEG to NEG). Perhaps this is caused by the bipolar design of the 7004's?
The last time I tried it, it gave me a Phase L error, so just for the heck of it, I tried switching the POS w/ NEG, and NEG w/ POS on the speaker...run the tests again, and I get a Phase R error. I guess it's not a super big deal as I haven't noticed any decrease in bass output or anything like that. Just wondering if anyone knows why it would do this?

Maybe you have a bad mic , just a possibilty to look into. When I problem search no matter what it is, cars ect. I always start with the cheapest and easiest fix and then go from there .Also double check your connections on your receiver to for stray wires or maybe having your wires crossed negative and positive. What did you get first your receiver or speakers and did it do it before with one or the other previously ? Last possibilty is you have a faulty receiver I know someone who had 3 bad Denons in a roll but that is rare.;)

run the wires visual. do not trust the eq, as they have been known to call incorrect phase;) Bi/di polar speakers do not cause phase issues, wiring does

it may be just the fact that it is reading a di-pole signal and thinks its an issue where there is none.
