Denon AVR-1905

I'm thinking about buying one just to use it as a pre for my stereo rig.

Anyone has any opinions on the quality of the built in DAC? I'm gonig to hook up my CD player via toslink, and use the 2 channel pre-outs from the Denon to my external amp.

FWIW, my 2105 which probably has identical DAC's sounds great with a cheapie Samsung DVD player over toslink.

You can probably get a much better amp for stereo only for the same money.
