<font color='#000000'>My Denon AVR-1602 makes a high pitch whine through the speakers when it is first started. The noise is loudest when the volume is low and changes in pitch as you raise the volume. I feel it has somthing to do maybe with the motor that operates the volume knob. It usually goes away after a few minutes. Not a big problem as long as it does not get worse with time. Also the noise seems to be reduced as you raise the volume as well as changing pitch. Also any opinions about the Denon line of recievers would be welcome. Any Ideas on a better remote control. The one that came with it is a joke. Thanks..........</font>
