Denon 787 and iPod dock

First post here, didn't find anything in search.

I have a Denon 787 reciever with the iPod dock.

When playing the ipod, the reciever just quits. I do not think the song stops on the ipod, just the sound. If I hit play it starts again. Any help?

Sorry if this is a bland question. Do I need to expand, or is it in the wrong forum? If needed, I can try to expand as much as possible.
