Denon 4810CI network doesn’t work

Seriously, I have no life.
Ok now I am thinking back when I first got this, it didn’t have a WiFi antenna, but I had one from a old router so I connected it, it seems to connect and fit ok, could maybe the antenna not be compatible ?
The antenna is the SMA type and it should work, but that's one of the reasons I would connect with a cable. I always recommend that because it's far less likely to have problems when something is hardwired.

Have you tried changing to a wired connection? If you're pressing the OK/Enter button to make changes and it has been unsuccessful, try using the Right button. I don't have one here, but that could help. You need to make changes in 'Network Connecting', not 'Network Info'.
Right button does nothing, usually you will see an icon to the right if you can enter the menu deeper, nope don’t work, ok screw it, still happy for what it does since I paid $100 for it, I would be pissed off if I paid $3000 for it, lol

well that’s it, I give up, tried wired cable too, can’t enter that menu to change anything…. Not sure if I care more to do anything else, it still plays good sound, phono works and that its self was worth the $100 bucks!! ;)

If only the power amp section works, it will the best 7 channel power amp $100 or even $500 can buy.
The only one at similar list price at launch is the AVR-4308CI that measured with more output and lower THD+N. I gave that one away for free.:)

So anyone who wants to buy a <$1,000 5 to 7 ch amp such as Emotiva's should probably try to find either the 3808, 4308 or 4810 on e-Bay.;) If 7 channel, the 4308 would be better.

Analog frequency response in Pure Direct mode:
–0.18 dB at 10 Hz
–0.05 dB at 20 Hz
–0.02 dB at 20 kHz
–2.73 dB at 50 kHz

This graph shows that the AVR-4810Ci’s left channel, from CD input to speaker output with two channels driving 8-ohm loads, reaches 0.1 percent distortion at 168.2 watts and 1 percent distortion at 187.7 watts. Into 4 ohms, the amplifier reaches 0.1 percent distortion at 277.8 watts and 1 percent distortion at 303.5 watts.

Five channels driven continuously into 8-ohm loads:
0.1 percent distortion at 123.5 watts
1 percent distortion at 148.2 watts

Exactly, the sound is beautiful and also has the power if needed… and I use the Pure Direct when on zone 2 all the time, if anyone has the remotes for these and your unit died, Let me know I lost mine, as far as I can tell everything works outside the networking parts… (ok the iPod don’t work) ;) I have a dedicated pair of EPOS ES12 connected to Zone 2 just for 2 channel music and I cut off the Main speakers that I use for 7.1 / and the sound is Fantastic, no need to spend a lot of money on something new… I stream music using Audioengine B1 Bluetooth, will consider that google puck or maybe another WiFi streamer in the future ;)
