I have a Pioneer Elite VSX 47 TX and I love it. I want to upgrade to a unit with XM,HDMI and Ipod (I know the quality of the ipod sucks). I bought the Denon and I'm not that thrilled with it (sound quality with the Audisey EQ on. Sounds better with no EQ). I hooked up my Adcom GFA-555 to the L/R and it sounds alot better. Should I try the Pioneer VSX 74 or should I just get the Adcom 7ch amp (or another like Bryston) and forget about it? I have the Denon DVD 2910 and James Loudspeakers with the James power pipe sub.
