Denon 4306 or 3806-worth the extra money?

I am in the market for a new receiver. I have shopped around and it has come down to the Denon 4306 or the 3806. The 4306 has Ethernet capabilities and appears to have better front end electronics. The amp sections seem very similar. The 4306 is priced $350 more than the 3806. Is the 4306 worth the extra cost? Thanks

Unless the 4306 has features that you need, the 3806 will power your BAs very well in your space.

The 4306 has an ipod input (my family has 5 of them) and enet interface. In reviewing the forums, some say the 4306 midrange sounds better. Also, the surrounds have better imaging.

I compaired a 4306 to a Yamy 2700 and found the 4306 to have better highs and movie surround to be better (more real). They did not have a 3806 to compare it to. Thanks for the input.

What is your time frame? I would say wait for the 4x08 / 3x08 unless you need something right away.

I'm not is hurry, but the clearance price on the Denon is hard to resist.
