Denon 4306 Help

We have the 4306 and every time we watch a DVD it plays for a little bit then shuts off the DVD player. We have hooked up two different DVD players and it did it to both of them. Anyone got any suggestions?

The receiver has no control on the DVD player unless you are using the switched power outlet at the back of the receiver.

How do you have the components connected?

It is not recommended to connect a DVD player to the switched outlets on a HT receiver. DVD players have settings that can be lost if they are disconnected from power for extended periods of time.
