I currently own the following system: Denon 3802 receiver, Denon DVD-2800 player and the B&W 704 speakers. I bought my Denon equipment three years ago thinking that I would get into home theater. Since the condo I live in has a small living room, I am only using the two front speakers. I mainly use my system for listening to jazz and acoustic guitar CD's. I feel that the Denon receiver may not be the best match for my speakers and all of the features and channels on the receiver are being wasted if I do not use my system for home theater. I very seldom watch DVD's. What would be the best option for me. Would it be a good idea to use the 3802 as a pre-amp and purchase a separate power amp, buy a stereo receiver, or an integrated amp. I also plan to upgrade the Denon 2800 DVD player to a stand alone CD player. I was thinking along the lines of NAD, Rotel, or Arcam equipment and possible the Denon 2200 DVD player if I use my 3802 as a pre-amp. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
