I had the Denon 3805 and replaced it with the 3311. Didn't think I would notice much difference in sound , man was I wrong. However I am having problems.
1. When I press the channel level button on the remote my on screen display will show all seven of my speakers with the various sound levels. However it will not show this channel level display on all channels. Example, if I'm watching HBO and the channel level display comes up I can switch to ESPN and it will not come up at all on any of the ESPN channels. If I turn the 3311 off and then back on it will display on ESPN but not on HBO, it's driving me crazy.
2. Once I set all my speakers where I want them, the next day when I turn everything on all my speakers are re-set to 0. It doesn't keep the settings after you turn it off.
Never had these problems with my 3805 although it didn't have a GUI at least it would remember my speaker settings.
Any help would be much appreciated, I'm probably doing something wrong.
