I just swapped my Samsung 65 for a LG oled 77 ,,,, I went to plug in a thumb drive to my receiver and selected usb with the remote to play the drive and it said No Connection. I swapped the cable's the same as the old TV ' It worked fine with the Samsung, Very Confused.
The TV should have nothing to do with the receiver playing music from a drive.. yes?

Not being funny, you sure you connected to the right input?

If it has dual usb ports like my Denon and you've not selected the right one, that's what my Denon would indicate as well. Try the options button on your remote when in the usb input is in use for selection of which port....

Sorry I just got back home. I have the ARC cable from HDTV connected to the Monitor on the Denon. And I have a Optic cable from the TV to the Denon. My Denon has one USB on the front and a HDMI is all. As I said everything worked great till I switched TV's ..

Is the stick FAT32 formatted? And did you put the songs in a folder?

I don't know about Denon but that's a pre-requisite for Yamaha AVR's.
