I love this thing. It's kinda like my wife COMPLICATED:) After 5 days of reading all the post’s (not counting 2 months of researching these post) and the book 5 times I would just hate anyone saying Read pg. 31,33,44 of the Manual":), I have everything up and running fine Except the most simple of things I would think. The radio! I have got the FM channels programmed in, but when I try to switch to AM it goes right back to FM and the remote is no help? The channel tuner does nothing on the remote at all? I have to lie on my Big Tummy (as the amp is on the bottom shelf) and tune by holding in the tuner button then use the mode selector. I can switch it over to AM but as soon as I use the Mode selector to tune a station it just goes right back to FM. Any help here would be appreciated, as I just Know I have missed something minor as with every other problem I have had in setting this thing up has been the case. It's just after 2 days of trying to get AM I am at my wits end.

Thanks folks

Hey. Look at page 51. :D

Just kidding. Well, kind of. Regarding using the remote control to use the tuner, page 51 of the manual begins the instructions on using the remote, and page 53 discusses operation of the tuner functions. Make sure that you are in the "AMP" mode to use the tuner functions.

As for getting AM stations, page 44 discusses operation of the tuner - which I'm sure that you've read over and over again. I'd try this: select the TUNER as the source, press the BAND button to switch from FM to AM as required, then press the up or down arrow buttons to select a station. In other words, don't press the MODE button. See if that works for you.

I'd sure like to hear the outcome of this. Thanks!

EDIT: BTW, do you have an AM antenna hooked up to the receiver?

I do have the AM ant. connected:D The problem with the tuner buttons on the remote is they will not do anything? I am re-reading the mentioned pages and thanks for your thoughts on this.
