Denon 2310 or Yamaha 667?

The yamaha is about $550, the Denon about $500. Which is the better buy?

I've owned the RX-V663 and liked it very much, but added added an external amp to take it to the next level. If the Denon has pre-outs go with it. If not I'd go with the Yammy, which should have pre-outs.

Any reasons for your choice? On paper it didn't look so clear cut to me, but i must be missing something as you all picked the Denon.

Denon Pros:
Beefier amp
Lower price

Yamaha Pros:
Pre 7-channel output
HDMI 1.4
Additional Subwoofer Output

I currently have a Yamaha RX-V2500 and love it, but want something with HDMI switching now.

I said the Denon cause of the beefier amp section, now if you plan to with an external down the road get the Yamaha.
