Denon 2200 does not play DVD-A

My Denon 2200 will only play the DTS tracks on DVD-A disks. I got a Mannheim Steamroller disk that had DVD-A on one side & DVD-V on the other. The player would not play anything on the DVD-A side.

So, I bought a Blue Man Group disk. The disk has a menu that allows you to chose between DTS 5.1, PCM Stereo, and DVD-A. I only get the DTS 5.1 and Stereo options.

So I try a couple other DVD-A's and I see that the display never shows me that a DVD Audio disk is inserted, only a DVD. It does show Super Audio CD when a SACD is in the tray.

Do I have some setting wrong or do I have a bad player ?

Thanks

If it's playing SACD OK through the analog outputs, I'd wager that your problem is in the setup menus.

Yes. It was

In the Etc menu. Had DVD Video instead of DVD-A.

Thanks
