Denon 1909/789 Quick question

Was waiting to get a good deal on the 1909,but the time I saw it it was sold out.The 789 however is in stock for around the same price.Does anybody see a reason to wait on the 1909 over the 789? Big difference that I can see power wise.As for the extra remote,etc. I don't really need that.

I did get the Pioneer,it will be here this week.I needed another receiver to replace the one in the master bedroom so I got the Denon.I should have explained more.My bad.

The wife was generous this past week. She uses the one in the master bedroom more than I do,and she knew the old Onkyo needed to be replaced.So.I didn't argue.
