Has anyone seen this? This should be good for some cheap laughs providing you're properly oiled before the show begins...HeHeHe

Three suburban losers (Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, DJ Qualls) kill some time over the weekend by shooting guns in the woods. Mistaken for Army Reservists, the trio is shanghaied by a tough-as-nails sergeant (Keith David), who ships them off to Iraq. However, the men mistakenly end up in Mexico and, confusing the area with Fallujah, help out the locals by engaging a bandit ringleader (Danny Trejo) in combat.

I plan to watch this friday evening:)

Yes....the reviews are pretty lackluster (to say the least), but the movie snob critics miss the mark regularly as far as I am concerned:)

In a weird kind of way....I have high hopes for this movie, and I expect it to provide me with a bunch of chuckles.

Critics be damned!!!

Dont waist your time.
Don't waste your time either. The trailer alone was enough to tell me to stay far away from this one, and I like Larry the Cable guy.

Delta Force (Chuck Norris) almost certainly isn't any better...

You're right J, the memorable line from that movie was "see ya when I see ya" repeated every 20 minutes or so. I guess when the writer (high school drop out) blanked out he would insert: see ya when I see ya. A real high point for Chuck's acting career. Actually, he looks better now pushing excercise equipment, sporting a new hair rug.;)

Well.....I watched it and it wasn't as bad as critics would like you to believe. It was the same slaphappy redneck "dumbed down" brand of humor you'd expect from a "Larry the Cable Guy" movie.

My 2cents...... this simple brand of humor has little chance of ever getting rave reviews by critics, but the reviews were only sooooo bad because the critics took offense to the many scenes that took pot-shots at the gay lifestyle. Beware.....the movie contains what liberals/movie critics refer to as....offensive homophobic content:rolleyes: By contrast....if the movie contained comedy that pushed a gay agenda..... the positive reviews would have jumped by at least 50% (regardless of how bad the movie actually was). If Larry ever did a movie like that, critics would brand it as pioneering, cutting edge, innovative, hip, ect, etc, etc...LOL

Don't get me wrong because this movie is by no means an artistic masterpiece...LOL However...... when you consider the cast involved.....it pretty much delivers as expected. If you have a few adult beverages in you late on a friday night, and you're on your 2nd or 3rd movie......it's worth a spin to bring the night to a close. LOL
