DefTec BP6 or Energy CF-70 Floorstanding speakers?

Trying to choose between these two. Which would give best sound overall for both music and movies as front floorstanders in 7.2 surround system?

Haven't heard either. What's the opinion of folks that have tried/used them?

I get that they are bipolar vs monopolar. Just seeing if anyone has an opinion on the sound quality in an HT setup of these two. The searches yielded little results.

Well, you have not broken my record yet! In another forum, I got
over 1,500 views on one of my threads, with no responses.

I am not a big Energy fan - I prefer monopole Definitive sound.
However for movies, both could make you happy. If you can not
decide - then flip a quarter.
If you favor a lot of music - then I prefer something else.

not necessarily limiting my options to those two.. just spec wise and economically, they fit into what I was looking for. Wanted to do two floorstanding fronts for $500.

Any other suggestions?

I had a BP6 about 5 years ago and only kept them for a month. I did not like the sound of them at all. You can have better sound from other speakers for the same money.

Never heard the Energy CF70.

The CF-70 is fine but a good alternative is the Infinity P362 or P363.
