I had the opportunity to audition the def techs over the weekend. Walked away with mixed feelings. The sound was loud and dispersed. Cosmetically, very attractive. I do think the dealer did not have them optimally set up. A large rectangular room with speakers approximately 8 feet from side walls, two or three feet from back walls. Reviews and comments I have read give them high marks for both music and home theater. Are my misgivings the bipolar sound and if it is, does it stabilize in a more conducive enviroment. Thank you.
