Def Tech CS9080 center LFE port, okay to "dual sub" from AVR?

Hsu subwoofer
Def Tech D11 mains (set small)
Def Tech ProMonitor 1000's, surround
Def Tech CS9080 center.
Audyssey auto corrected, Denon AVR
LFE + MAIN, set.

Is it proper or advisable to run the second sub port on the Denon AVR to the LFE input port on the Def Tech CS9080 center channel in addition to the speaker wire? The CS9080 center has a subwoofer and passive bass radiator, FYI. Currently I have only speaker wire running between the deck and the center. An audio tech advised to set it up as described in the first sentence.

From the little I know about that speaker, I would not use the lfe on the center. I’ve also not had good luck using the lfe+main settings. Ymmv of course.
