Hey all, want to thank everyone for the advice I got on a previous thread regarding upgrades. For those that participated, she said yes.
In fact she was so happy she bought me a pair of Klipsch RP260's and a Klipsch R115SW, she just knew i loved klipsch so that's what she got. Honestly though it's such an improvement over my last sub I couldn't be more thrilled, movies and music both sound 100% better.
That all being said brings me to this topic. As much as she loves me she can't stand the "obnoxious" speakers in the living room so the HT is getting kicked to the basement. The area I'm working with is 11Wx14Lx7H. The whole basement is L shaped and is a 14x11x7 rectangle and a 11x21x7 rectangle and open. The area I'm working with has a concrete floor, left wall and front wall. The right wall and back are open.
Want to know what treatments you would recommend to tame the room acoustics. Was already planning on carpet floors and some homemade panels for the side wall. Also kicking around the idea of building the riser for a second row as a bass trap. As always your opinions are greatly appreciated.
