Dedicated Circuit for HT

I did some poking around in my breaker panel and much to my chagrin I only have a 15A circuit for all my outlets for my HT as well as sharing it with the dining room outlets as well. I have an electrician coming out next Monday to rewire the family room/HT by using an existing spare 20A circuit. I am worried this is still inadequate. Currently, when I have a big bass "hit" like in "The Incredibles" or "Master and Commander" I get a voltage drop large enough to cause my Tripplite line conditioner to briefly dip from "normal" to "low". It has even caused my TV to switch off on its own. This is at -15db, I can only imagine what would happen if I tried to listen at reference levels. My speakers all have powered amplifiers and their stated output is as follows:
BP 7000 SC's 1800 watts each, Supercube References (2) 1800 watts each, BPVX/P's (4) 125 watts each, C/L/R 2500 150 watts, Emotiva MPS-1 amplifier ~ 1400 watts, Denon AVR 3805 (pre/pro only) -- not sure how much juice the Denon is drawing as I am not using its amp section, 61" Samsung DLP, plus a DVD player. Do you think I should have the electrician put in a second dedicated circuit, or is that just overkill? I only have one existing spare in the panel so I would like a high benefit/cost ratio if possible. Thank you for any and all replies.

Given the number of components you have 2 dedicated 20A circuits would be good. You have a lot of power hungry amps !

I would ask your electrician if you can put in a subpanel. That would enable you to add more circuits. I have a sub in the basement and currently have 2 2-amp dedicated for the HT closet, 1 15 amp for the outlets, and 1 15amp for the lights.

yes-subpanel, or ask him if the existing service panel is rated for tandem breakers, which allows you to double the number of single space breakers.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into a sub panel solution -- that seems to give me the most flexibility as well as meeting any future power needs that I may run into.
