Decision buying a Pre-Amp/Processor VS AVR

I currently own a Parasound 5250. I love the "power" I've gotten from this running pre-outs from my current AVR, a Denon AVR-4308.

I've recently purchased a 3DTV, and I want a pre-amp/processor that can do HDMI 1.4 switching.

My question is, since I've read on many forums that the processing/pre-amp section on dedicated pre-amp/processors such as the Marantz AV7005 is identical to even their own Marantz SR7005, should I stick with an AVR or buy a dedicated pre-amp/pro?

I'm decided between the Denon AVR-4311, Pioneer Elite SC-37, Marantz AV7005 (or SR7005), Onkyo TX-NR5008, or the stand out Onkyo or Integra 80.2.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm running Klipsch RF 83, RC 64, RS 7, RT-10D as my system. Thanks! I do want 7.1 because I have RB-81 I'm not using right now.

Parasound, Klipsch, and DENON AVR-4311CI.

That will allow you to go w/the latest processing, AirPlay, networking, and all of 9.2 or 11.2 if you wish later on.

You will be able to grow into the 4311CI, and they are all ranting and raving about the Quality of it, and Features.

That's my Vote == DENON AVR-4311CI

as the next upgrade will be the 4313 and it will be another year away or so, maybe next spring.

Yeah, the Denon 4311 for $1,500 delivered to your front door from an authorized dealer sounds like a great plan to me.:D
