Just got it last nite...

and quickly set it up...Holy S&%! didn't realize how big it is till you see physically. Dang! it was huge...So I have to move my futon out of the way, to fit it in a corner, near the rear-left surround of the room.

Calibrated. Put in the Return of the King DVD from LOTR. Switch to the Battle of Denethor (forgive me about the spelling! :p) chapter and enjoy. I can feel the rumbling of the horses' hooves stomping the ground, while they were charging toward the elephants. Right at the moment the two clashed. Holy moly:eek:, everything just shakes from the elephant feet; to the elephants' tusks hitting the horses...WOW what a rush!!! :D:D:D I live in a condo on the main floor so the floor is concrete but holy ^&#*$^$ (I could put quite a few other descriptive words in here) but it's G-rated in here :p

I turned off the Klipsch off now. What a piece of junk. The bass is much more punchy, clean, whole new other bass range that I could never get from the Klipsch. What a refined piece of equipment!!! Worth every cents.

Now that I have something to compare to. Before I have the Klipsch, I noticed the bass is not consistent throughout the room when I walked around. It's alot more boomy and (I guess) dirty...However this is the same location where I have the SVS now. Now SVS just blown the Klipsch out of the water. Wherever I stand in the room, now, bass is consistent and flat-out marvellous.

Overall my first impression is thoroughly AMAZED what this SVS PB12-NSD can put out. I will post up a pic or two of my set up soon. However I will finely tune it this weekend...CAN'T wait! :D

Now I have to update my sig too...:p

Congrats Kong. I think the PB12 is a value leader at the price point. If I didn't live as close to HSU as I do, I'd always recommend them to my friends I think.
