The death penalty is now enacted in the fifth state for child predators. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/10/us/10execute.html?_r=1&th&emc=th&oref=slogin I am generally against penalties used as deterrents, as I believe penalties ought to punish the crook for the crime he committed, and no more, and deterrents seem to go past that boundary. But perhaps killing these predators (quickly, within a year or two, and speeding up all appeal processes) that know no boundaries will end this seemingly now popular crime that is amongst the most horrific of evils.
