I purchased a pair of DCM Time Windows in the mid 80’s. The serial #’s are 36332, 36487. The woofer (top right) in 36332 has blown and needs replacing. Do you know where I can get a suitable replacement ( I realize I may need 2 for correct mirroring) ?
I’m not a repair expert so plse forgive me if this request sounds juvenile. Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps one of you audiophiles can repair?

Thanks

DCM doesnt service or support the Time Window or its drivers, have you had the driver checked to see if it can be saved? If you really like them then try to poke around Ebay or Audiogon for somebody in same boat who may have a speaker for parts, or replace all drivers with new drop in of proper spec.
I had a pair of Time Windows and they are a cool little speaker that sounds great...many including me owned a Time Window early in our love for music/

Define "blown"

that term can cover a wide range of ailments, all the way from going out in a flaming crescendo all the way to woofer surround (the part between the paper cone and the metal frame) simply disentegrating. The latter, BTW, is easily remided.

In an attempt to offer more ideas I did a search on this topic and found other sites you asked the same question with the same answer, have it inspected by someone in the know to see if it can be fixed, if not try looking into my other ideas.

I used to own DCM Time Frames and loved the sound.

You could always try a company like Parts Express to find a pair of replacement drivers. They have a big selection of speakers to choose from and have a nice online web site.
