Cylinder Ultra versus Box Ultra

I love my box Ultra, but my 3 cats would prefer the cylinder Ultra .

I don't know.... The boxes are nice, but if you could hide a couple more subs in the back of the room where they dissapear... why not... Thats what I would do...

1) if you have the space, go for the box
2) don't pair the cylinder and box

I really didn't know they were different... hmm

not for this specific question, but his answers to my previous questions lead to this:

1) different output capability due to box having more volume
2) different tuning due to box having more volume
3) the box will have more output below 25hz

(this only applies to the ultra box and cylinder, the other models have very similar performances between cylinder and box)

though Ed said the PB12NSD is the best performing subwoofer out of all the NSD based drivers. (even the supposedly similar PCi 20-39) but he said the differences were slight
