There are several manufacturers now offering kits and they vary in design, performance installation criteria and price. Crowson Technology, a company located in California has recently introduced a new transducer with a new patent-pending technology called Liner Direct Drive. The manufacturer claims it has much better performance over conventional transducers from this new technology.

oh.. here it is. but anyway yeah,

good review, the tes's get cooler the more you test it. There are lots of strange lfe on certain tracks and its unique to feel the completely different motions.

great product though, ive had them for a couple years
ive been trying to recommend them ever since.

Thanks guys,
I have another transducer kit headed my way for review from another manufacture that I am very excited about. I should receive them in the next week or two and I will proceed with the evaluation.

Signed Clint :D

so youd recommend this product over the buttkicker(one of your 2005 products of the year) hands down?

quality of the TES-100's is obviously in a league above the buttkickers as it seems.. but what about just your personal recommendation in terms of worth of purchase and extra $.

maybe you should wait until you review the next one to so you can reply about all 3.

Two things to keep in mind The Crowson is allot more $$
and is newer. The Buttkicker offers allot of performance for the dollar and BKA-1000 amp is spectacular just received the new actuator and will start the evaluation next week.

The one thing that all these manufactures need to start thinking about is IR/RF control with the kit. To omit this important function from the product is a huge oversight. The manufactures believe that the product will be active and is appropriate for movies and music. Personally I don’t want tactile sensation when I am listening to music. In today’s modern home theater having to get up from your chair to walk over to the rack to hard power down a product or make adjustments is pretty archaic. I wish the manufactures would implement this basic feature into their product line.

My room is just too big (30'x24') for subs to fill all the space. Money would be better spent on a shaker. It sucks doing the responsible thing. At least I got everyone to aggree on a big TV.:D

now crowson has a new more powerful amp available. Now would you agree that this set up is easily the best out there?

its puts out almost twice the power of the old amp per channel. and from the review the only drawback was a slightly underpowered amp. The new amp is only a couple hundred bucks more too.. and it powers 2 more tes-100's than the old one. plsu it has a preamp built in. so its actually cheaper.

plus its got a remote which is cool. just thought id post this product.. im very pleased with mine, and i felt that it didnt get the derserved respect from audioholics.

they praised buttkicker, but they admitted that buttkickers were inferior to this product.

easily the best bang for the buck, as well as the best product available imo.
no one ever thinks these are a significant part of a ht system yet, but once you try the tes-100, i think youll find out how significant they are.

after reading over your summary of cons in the review.. every single one has been addressed by the new amp (link on the last post)

i think AH should start trying to push these motion actuators more.. they are seriously the coolest thing i have in my system.
