Finally completed my system..... well, until I get out of this townhouse anyways. Thanks to all the helped!! I am having trouble with my reciever settings. Not sure on what to set the crossover's at. Here is where they are now.
Fronts- Polk Rti 8's........80Hz
Center- Polk Csi 3.........80Hz
rear- Monitor 50's.........80Hz
LPF...........................120Hz
Sub - polk psw 505 (yeah I know.) I wanted the HSU but, wife would only let me get the Rti8's if I got the sub that matched. It's her living room!!
AV- onkyo 605
I performed the audessy setup. It seemed to turn down the overall volume or something. The sub and speakers all sound quiet. Should the volume have to be turned up to like 65 to get medium loud theater sound? My 4/5 year old Yammy with less watts per channel played louder with less volume Although, I was running CV bookshelves.
Does raising the dB levels help to take less strain off the AV? It's true about this thing running hot.
