Cringe worthy music that you like in secret

Everybody has music that they proclaim in public, in bars, on forums, etc. We also have some stuff that we reserve for ourselves, because we wouldn't want to be caught listening to is because it's just too uncool, too retro, too something. This is music that you listen to in the dark with headphones. Anybody will to share?

I'll go...I was raised in a German family and caught a taste for churchy choral music, not that that's bad, but in the more contemporary world, the closest I can come is Brian Wilson, whose writing of vocal harmony seems close to Handel and Bach. His newest, That Lucky Old Sun, is an excellent example but a guy who likes loud jangly guitar bands shouldn't like this sweet, overproduced vocal harmony. Those spoken interludes really radiate cringes. Nevertheless, in the dark with headphones, over and over......

Ok, I won't let you be the only one

I really like bagpipe music! As long as it's done well, I can sit there and listen to bagpipes for hours.

must...resist...desire...too...RICK ROOOOOOOOOOOOLL!
Actually have his vest of CD in my car, mostly for the lolz, so I can blast Never Gunna Give You Up when I drive :D:D:D

Truthfully, I don't think I am embarrassed by any of the music I listen too...except maybe some of the ballads by a few bands...Some of them that I really enjoy would make me seem like a gay man XD

Believe it or not, I live in a pipe-heavy neighborhood. Several distant neighbors play the pipes in bands and need to practice by walking around, as in a parade. On nice weather weekends, frequently I go outside and hear distant bagpipes as these guys march around playing. I really like the sound...it seems downright paleolithic and makes the little hairs stand up on my neck.

I like Nickelback... that seems to always get me some groans...
I've got you're back Clint. Not one of my favs but when they get it right they get it right. The problem is that when they get it wrong they get it WRONG.:D And you know that all you need is one bad tune and the masses will come down on you. (kinda like sticking your head out there on a review...;)) They have more than one bad tune though...:)

Other than that all the music I listen to is supremely awesome!:D

I'm relatively young (20) and don't know what my friends would think about how much Beach Boys stuff I listen to.

Not that its bad music, its arguably some of the best, but it just doesn't fit my generation.

You might like the Hed Kandi albums. Adam because of the girls on the cover, Wunnabubble because of the disco influence.

The old ones are mint, the newer ones are commercial. The old Twisted Disco albums are pretty good if you like(d) disco.
