Anyway, I was recently given a fantastic present of a beautiful 1080p projector. I wish to gift my father with a lovely cinema room for Christmas, but would need some help in getting some stuff together
I have 2 things that need to be worked around.
Atm I have a nice projector which will be connected to a nice cheap pc (Quad core, Blu-ray/hddvd etc) which is totally silent. I however lack a suitable sound system. Well... not strictly true. I have a battered set of Creative G500 THX speakers which are sorta working. Better than nothing, but would like to improve at a later date.
The main problem is the projector screen. Sure the wall would do, but to me it seems a cardinal waste to project a beautiful image onto a painted wall. However dreams stop at the financial door
Does anyone have a good link or advice on how to make a REALLY nice projector screen for approx £150. Am good at manual work etc so its no sweat. If your solution is a bit more expensive etc please still tell me, as I might be stupid enough to go for it
