Crazy Golf Cart Accident

It was probably gas powered and not electric, too... These carts MUST be stopped. Maybe a law about having steel fencing around cliffs or some kind opf new proximity law. We could also start mandating that golfers wear life vests on courses that had water hazards, etc... You can't be too careful!

He DID NOT push the the assault weapons ban issue when it expired and that is good enough for me. It was a silly law that needed to expire.

Not only that, but the course ownership should be sued for a 'ten figure' jackpot settlement. Their liability stems from negligent course construction along dangerous terrain. We must take action fast before more innocents are victimized by golf. Cliff-side courses like Pebble Beach, Spyglass, Torrey Pines, etc, etc, etc....need to be closed to protect golfer lives.

We also need strict golf cart safety laws. Ya know..... driver and passenger side airbags, seat belts, sturdy roll-cages that can withstand a tumble from a 100 foot cliff, fire extinguishers, turn signals, first aid kids & defibrillator's, should all become mandatory golf cart features.

yep... totally agree. In fact, A lot of good things have happened on the gun front over the past decade. The above is just one of many examples. Anti-gun liberals have had a tough go of it during the stretch while democrats were kicked to the curb and evicted from power.

Anyone who doesnt know that..... is simply uninformed. Not only did things like the above happen, but new anti-gun legislation died a quick and painless death before ever reaching 'first base'. That kind of stuff was generally killed before it even hit the floor...LOL

I'd like to take my last breath while playing a round of golf, but I don't think I'd want to end like this. This would be a good opportunity for LIBs to call for "tighter golf cart control" :rolleyes:

If this that guy couldn't control a golf cart at 10mph then we're lucky he wasn’t in his Escalade ESV mowin down people at the street fair.

What, was he glued to the seat or what? Now, I'm no genius, but if I saw I was headed for a cliff and couldn't control or stop the fargin' thing, I'd have bailed and watched the thing go over the cliff from a distance!

Maybe he was talking on his cell phone?

I think the guy made a HUGE bet with his buddies on the last hole. He figured, "Screw it. I'm never gonna be able to pay." So he just decided to end it all.

maybe the "door" was power locked, and he couldn't get out.

I say if your dumb enough to fly off a cliff in a stupid golf cart that does a whopping 10 mph then the crash did all the rest of us a favor.

PS: I'm withholding all of my 'jackpot lawsuit' comments until after my own 'got run over by a cell-phone talking teen' lawsuit is settled. ;)
